A Rare Pokémon Caused A Huge Stampede In Central Park

Finding a Snorlax in "Pokémon GO" is no easy feat. It can appear anywhere and it only lasts for a short amount of time. So when one does pop up somewhere, it has the power to create quite a mob. This happened recently at Central Park in New York and we were there to witness the madness in person.

I've been forever changed... all I can think now is how this would be classified as a "super spreader" event. Good news is that Niantic has really kicked ass in keeping the game playable during the pandemic. I live very rural and never could catch a single thing unless I went 20 miles into town. Now my couch is enough.
