Thank you for the poem! Wrote it in my foraging book under reeds. Love when I find poems in foraging books. Am looking up how to eat as we have fresh shoots in lawn which my brother will cut with lawn mower so figured why not try those.

Cattails do much of the same and then much more... and are native. Nice to see different uses though.
