I'm glad people have the patience and passion to take care of old vehicles, because I work on cars but still think it would be quite a learning curve and experience to keep up an old vehicle, and I don't have the time or patience at this point. It's nice to be able to see them, though. If anything, I'd like a 30s Ford Model A. But feel like I'd get tired of it quick because they drive nothing like modern cars, so it probably wouldn't be very fun to drive it around. I took a ride in an early 20s model T, and at 35 mph, pretty much top speed, it felt pretty unstable and scary.

Welcome to my in-depth review of the Tesla Cybertruck, where we dive into the most frustrating aspects of this futuristic vehicle. While I love the Cybertruck and still highly recommend it, it has its flaws that potential buyers should be aware of. Let’s take a closer look!

📖 Chapter 1: Sharp Edges & The Carrot Test (00:23)
The frunk has a serious safety flaw. We performed the "Carrot Test" to see if the frunk would stop closing when an object is in the way. Spoiler: it didn’t. This could easily cause injury, so be cautious.

📖 Chapter 2: The Oversized Windshield Wiper (00:52)
The giant windshield wiper sounds cool, but in practice, it’s annoying. The wiper itself is fine, but Tesla's software is inconsistent, especially in bad weather.

📖 Chapter 3: The Steering Wheel - Missing Stalks (01:10)
Tesla replaced traditional turn signal stalks with buttons on the steering wheel. It’s futuristic but takes some getting used to, making it awkward at first.

📖 Chapter 4: The Aggressive Cup Holders (01:33)
Cup holders should be simple, right? Not in the Cybertruck. The rubber grips are so tight that getting your drink in and out is a hassle.

📖 Chapter 5: The Glove Box - No Manual Override (01:49)
Tesla removed the manual latch, so you can only open the glove box through the settings menu. This digital dependency can be frustrating if the touchscreen is unresponsive.

📖 Chapter 6: The Visors - Not Very Effective (02:09)
The sun visors are weird and don’t block much sunlight. There’s always a gap above them that lets light in, which can be annoying if you’re sensitive to glare.

📖 Chapter 7: The Manual Tailgate (02:37)
Surprisingly, the tailgate doesn’t close automatically. You’ll need to do it manually, which feels like a missed opportunity in such an advanced vehicle.

📖 Chapter 8: The Tire Hub Cap Issue (03:03)

📖 Chapter 10: The Tonneau Cover Problem (03:45)
When the tonneau cover is closed, you can’t see out the back of the truck. This lack of rear visibility is a significant downside when parking or reversing.

📖 Chapter 11: The Hard-to-Find Outlets (04:17)
Finding the outlets in the Cybertruck can be a challenge. They aren’t lit and are tucked away, making them difficult to locate, especially in the dark.

📖 Chapter 12: The Stainless Steel Exterior (04:33)
The Cybertruck’s stainless steel exterior looks cool but is hard to keep clean. Fingerprints and smudges are a constant battle, and insects seem to love it too.

Final Thoughts (05:00)
Despite these flaws, I still love the Cybertruck and recommend it. The positives outweigh the negatives, but it’s important to know what you’re getting into.

2:26 Recognized the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car almost immediately. I still have the film on DVD. The part about it flying may not have been real, but combining a boat hull with a car body came out really well.
