Celebrating 100 Years of Insulin! | I Challenge Diabetes

Since this year is the 100th anniversary of the discovery of insulin, our Youth Council reached out to our community, our friends and families, to ask them to talk about insulin - how it not only saves lives everyday, as the only treatment for type one diabetes, but enables T1Ds to live their lives to the fullest.

The resulting video is a tribute to insulin, straight from youth as young as 5, who express their heartfelt gratitude for their life saving medication, and who are determined to use their diabetes as an empowering force in their lives. We are grateful to all of the youth who participated.
