Stellarium has a comet extension, that you can use to show the comet, when it becomes visible in the night sky in your area, and you can also use it to guide your telesope (if you have one with motorized mount)

I got too see it on the night of October 12th is was after sunset and it looked tanish yellow and it had a beautiful comet tail
