That's awesome. It reminds of when I was a kid and wanted to learn how to make the blankets my great grandmother made for my mother. She and I never met but her work inspired me. I began learning to crochet back in 2017 and have made a few blankets and many stuffed animals since then. My younger sister took up crochet last year. She and I are now collaborating to make a special blanket for our mother for Christmas.
