The ticks at the start of the song occur every 1.25 seconds on Millar's planet.
Each tick marks an entire day on Earth...

this song is good for running outdoors because of the regular tick, AND one can also time it to run past mountains as the music swells and then say the line from the movie lol.

Whatever challenges you’re facing, remember: those aren’t mountains, they’re waves.

Listen this song 3 times (yes, 3 hours listening "mountains"), each "clock" that you heard it was a day on Earth (if you were in Miller)
Scary, but surprising detail

if you're listening to this whole song on Miller's planet, 7 years would have gone by on earth. Crazy how stuff like this is real.

This song really would fit into like a space and time documentry

A day on Miller's Planet is 168 years on Earth. A day. It's pretty easy to wrap your mind around the 1h/7yrs ratio when talking about small time frames, but the fact that as little as 24 hours there is about twice the average human's lifespan... pretty nuts.

I love how this is nothing more than a subtle way of once again highlighting just how _tiny_ we all are in the grand scheme of things, just how short a time as long as a full human life can really be.

Maybe when you come back you'll be able to play the GTA 6 demo

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
