Of the Dead Sea Scroll material I am familiar with, Enoch is nearly paramount if you want to understand the 66 books of the Bible. And it appears to have been referenced by Jesus Himself (Son of Man, marriage in Heaven, mansions in His Fathers house- concepts only previously appearing in Enoch).

Dr. Ken Johnson is also a fascinating teacher of the Dead Sea scrolls. He also has a lot of information on his website and has written some excellent books on many of the Scrolls!

Just ordered Vol 1 and 2 as well as The Lost Prophecies of Qumran: 2025 and the Final Age of Man. I’m actually looking fwd to giving them to my friend after I read them. I think he’s on the cusp of accepting Jesus so say prayers for him that Jesus reveals Himself to him before it’s too late.

I've read Lost Prophecies of Qumran: 2025 and The Final Age of Man, and also Volume 1. Looking forward to Volume 2. These are really great books!!

In the same way that we have a Bible that is a collection of these books. We need to have a collection of the extra Biblical books since as Josh said they don’t change the Bible but provide context. And WE NEED CONTEXT.
It baffles me how in my small group I recently joined how much is spent on us going around discussing what we think the text means. It’s literally 20% reading the passage, 80% thinking what it says and going down these weird rabbit holes.
It’s evident that we don’t know the context of the Bible and it has an affect on our faith. Dr. Michael Heiser taught me that.

God gave us His appointed days. They are recurring yearly, while at the same time, Jesus is fulfilling each, one at a time. The next fulfillment is the rapture.

You guys are awesome, please take a closer look at Qumran. The Essenes lived near En Gedi, as documented in first century writings. Qumran was inhabited by the exiled temple priests, the sons of Zadok.
