I do love the Surface Connector even though it's proprietary, because they have been allowing alternate charging methods (USB-C) as well... so the magnetic port is simply a PLUS

As a Mac guy for the past 20 years, I’m really all about the idea that your hardware and the system software ought to be made by the same company. You get each end of the components really optimized for each other — and you’ve got one company to complain to about anything going wrong, which in turns keeps them acting responsibly toward their users.

My current machine is a MacBook 12”, the discontinued line that only had a single USB-C port plus a headphone jack. (Oh, and no cooling fan — I love this thing!) If I were to ever switch to Windows, I would get a Surface Go 2.

I had the original Go for about 16 months and It has been a great device for me to take notes with and a perfect second computer. Recommended to anybody using it for school or for work as a note-taker or a light web browsing device

I’ve been 100% behind the Surface line since 2018. Laptop productivity and capabilities in tablet versatility. As a traveling flight crew who has had his airline push him into the Apple Ecosystem for work equipment the past 5 years now, you have hit on all the key points why Surface is still a much more capable tablet out there! My only gripe is wishing for Microsoft to allow more aviation developers onboard Windows! Great review and probably upgrading soon!

As an owner of SurfaceGo1, I can say, that the bezels never disturb me, speed is slow, battery time - fantastic. The biggest problem is Windws10 which is not suitable for tablets. I also have an iPad and the operating and daily use of it is much better. Microsoft needs new Tablet Mode that will be easier to work with fingers when using the device on-the-go.

The Surface Book 2 15" has treated me so well the past 2 years I've had it. It's amazing for everything I need to do for my architecture classes. Almost half my graduating class has one now

Last year I bought a Surface Go and a Razer Blade 15. I use the Surface Go all the time to browse the internet, watch videos and write in Word. I mostly use the Razer laptop when I want to play a video game or paint something... I get a lot more use out of the Surface Go.
