I love LOTR as well.. So I definitely would recommend you read John Gwynne “The Faithful and the Fallen” series. It’s soooo good!!

Hello. I believe you are Australian- in Australia? You ask your landlord permission to mount furniture to walls. Most agree as it is a safety issue and if you agree IN WRITING to patch and paint the holes, most landlords are ok with it. Just get the permission in writing. Unless in Victoria where they now have legal right to nail into walls without permission as long as they return to original conditions. Good luck.
