I once saw a tumblr post very close in concept to this. It said something like "the difference between tech enthusiasts and cybersecurity specialists is that a tech enthusiast will have a smart home controlled from an app on their phone, whereas the cybersecurity specialist's most recent piece of technology is a printer from 2006 that they keep a loaded shotgun next to in case it makes an unexpected noise"

What I personally always found interesting is that the more you know about a certain technology, the less you trust it. A locksmith generally doesn't trust physical locks for the exact same reason Thor doesn't trust "smart" devices.
