The peaches and cream smoothie brought a question to my mind. Have you ever tried making creamy style soups using oatmeal instead actual cream?

I really like the idea, both for the health benefits of the oatmeal and being able to freeze "creamy" soups without losing any quality during the thawing and reheating process. I would love to see what you can do with this idea!

This is interesting in all my years with my banana allergy I never thought of prunes as a replacement. I have done avocado and that’s been a pretty good substitute in smoothies.

Just finishing up my smoothie. I added a pear for sweetness and fiber. I also added an orange, blueberries, sunflower seeds, almond milk, flax seeds, spinach and oats. I love bananas but they can be successfully omitted from smoothies.

Can you provide the macros on your smoothies. I'm pretty sure there's too much natural sugar in there for people who are low carb or diabetic, but I can't tell.

I substitute my bananas with avocados and just add a bit of honey or maple syrup to sweeten it up. Great ideas! I’ll sure try them.
