Rookie mistake, grabbing the resource on the ground instead of taking the mine first (before the end of the turn). The ore will give you the same amount of resource this or next turn, but taking the mine in turn 1 instead of turn 2 gives you one more day of resources :)

Some facts:

- Everyone LOVES HoMM3 and its expansions

- HoMM3 and its expansions are awesome

- The style of play and graphics somehow still rock in HoMM3 even though it's old as shit

What is it about the HoMM-series that new developers don't Just make the NEW HoMM-games in the style of the OLD HoMM-games. By all means, update the graphics, but copy the style and setup of the brilliantly simplistic and addictive HoMM 3!

Graphics are not very colorful like previous games. The grass is a dull green, the blue is a dull blue. I hope they know what they're doing. Hand painted town doesn't blend with the art style imo. They should have gone for a CG looking town.

Looks so far good, BUT BRING BACK shadows instead of futuristic squares to show how far creatures can move pls just pls it would look better with great shadows, or then do that you can choose in settings to show futuristic squares or shadows :p

I'm a big fan of this game, but this time, I have to say the town view disappointed me. I know Ubisoft wants to bring some kind of nostalgia, but is that what the art department can do for us?

why does the town screen looks so unreal and cartoonish, H3 town screens are epic and in 2015 we have these garbage town screens... remake them!

When we asked for Town Screens to come back. We should've specified "CG" perhaps? And that hand painted style (perhaps not quite like this though!) would've suited the world map better with the best graphics saved for the Town Screen.

Did you know that Ashan is chain store in Moscow where Nival's office resides?! Nival - is the development company which created Heroes of Might and Magic V. :)

except that I am still not used to this whole Ashan thing. Compared with the fantasy-scifi world of Erathia, Ashan story is like written by a 7 year old. Most MM fans are at their 30s you know.

I thought the townview, was like a painting and that it would be possible to get a zoomed in view, or overview..
