Might & Magic Heroes 7 Review

Might & Magic Heroes 7 manages to scratch a very old PC gaming itch, at least between the awful cutscenes and performance problems.

I am so tired of this annoying 3D engine that seems to be used in every single Heroes game as of late, that seems slow and clunky despite being run on a powerful computer.

Why not try a throwback to the old brilliant 2D style of Heroes 3?

Heroes 2, 3, and 5 are my favorites. No ones out here showing love to 2 but it is such a masterpiece.

Remember homm5 where cutscenes were animated and when u come to a castle its a cinematic 3d animation of the castle

I like heroes IV better than Heroes III because you get the hero to fight also, with the right built and artifacts, a single hero can slay thousands of black dragon.
Heroes III is all about logistic, as long as you have town portal spell or fly, than that is it, victory is at hand.

It's not really sparking any interest. I loved the epic combat cinematics Heroes 6 had, but gameplay wise, Heroes 5 is my personal favorite.
I kinda wish they would take what they had in Heroes 5 and build upon that. Also, it feels like there are a lot less factions to choose from now. Where did the demons go?
Conclusion: From what i've played in the series, Heroes 5 has more to offer than these newer games, which is a shame cause i really want a new Heroes game that sparks my interest

I'm laughing at the comments. Might & Magic Heroes III was part of my childhood. One of the best games I have ever played. I few sorry for those that never had the chance to play it.

I was very skeptical of this game at first, but I finally got around to buy it, and I'm happy to say that I enjoy it :) It's nothing new groundbreaking about it, but it delivers on the good old solid heroes style of gameplay. MUCH better than heroes 6 in my opinion

Heroes of MM 4 was the last best Heroes. 3 is my childhood but 4 is my daily

There is a tutorial mission and links to three turorial vids that are actually helpful. I like the combat animations. They're not overly-fancy by today's standards, but they are nice and fun. I'm about an hour into Sylvan campaign and it's really fun so far. Been playing since HOMM III.
