Cool video! I think doing more research on specific surfing destinations would be a good idea for multiple videos. One vid could be Southern California, another Central CA, another Northern CA, then do specific east coast destinations. Or check your channel demographics and see who makes up most of your audience in certain places and go from there. You could help beginners find a starting point for a place close to them and intermediates progress toward better waves in their areas
