Thanks for a great video, helped me plan where to surf as a somewhat ’experienced’ beginner in the Bukit Peninsula! Tried all of these spots. Had a great time and managed to catch my first green waves by myself at Thomas Beach 🥹🏄‍♀️ Would probably not surf them as a complete beginner though due to the reefs, but think they are great for someone who has surfed at least a couple of times.

Go to kuta beach, baby padang, or dreamland if you are a beginner uluwatu is not a wave for beginners thats why so many people get hurt and hurt others on a daily basis ! Be respectful !

There's no need to go to Bali at all if you are a beginner. You will likely have little fun, not because of the waves, but because of the crowds of competent surfers. And those surfers don't need any more people in the way. Find some less crowded destination and don't tell anyone if you find paradise.
