I lived in DC in the 90s wishing I was part of some cool social/arts movement… I lived next to Ian Mackaye & some of the guys (altho my friends ruined it & would scream at them when dropping me off at 2 am, if they remember me, it’s not fondly …but I knew em & got to hear them practice), hung out at the Black Cat & 930 when we weren’t protesting & queering up DC & doing X at Tracks…. 😂 😂 😂 glad I can see it all clearly now - what a wonderful moment in time!
