I could not believe it swam and slowed down right in front of me. The legal size ones are usually skittish.
I think it is the first time I caught a fish in December. The water temperature dropped. Most fish has left for deeper or southern waters. Striped bass come by in feeding schools, but it is too random. Most Togs/blackfish are small. This swam in front of me so slowly. I wonder if the cold water temperature made it slower.
I saw sone under rocks. At 1:30 pm there were none to be seen, when the sun started to set at 3pm, I saw more togs out. But they looked below the legal size. At high tide, the current kept pushing me away, west of the rocks. The current was relentless until 3pm
