My aussie doodle somehow survived getting hit side on by a pickup truck going 60 mph. Charlie, my dog, shattered the bumper and dented the guard rail. Then, he walks back to our house, except he smells like death, and the fur around his eyes became blacker than it already was. We took em to the vet, and after 2 weeks he was running around like normal. Truly a blessing from God.

Thank you for the positive update on sweet Mabel and the important PSA. A few years ago, my Bunny Blue had gotten excited over a dog and had slipped out of a weak part of the fence. Luckily, Bunny knew this wasn't supposed to happen and she sat right by the fence. Our house is next to the main road and if I hadn't gone to check on her, things could have gotten bad. We secured the whole fence to be sure this would not transpire again. Never take fences for granted. Dogs are our fur kids!

God, you can hear in his voice how much this shook Dawko. I have two small dogs so I completely understand how he feels.
My rabbit escaped out of his hut and through the hedges one night, and thankfully just stayed there all night, before wandering onto the driveway where we saw him. It’s a complete miracle Mable’s here in one piece too, and she was actually in an accident. PLEASE, all pet owners, make sure your fences are secure and that your pet can’t fit through the gaps in them.
I’m so happy to see her alive and happy. We all would’ve been distraught if she hadn’t made it because we love her so much. Sending love ❤️❤️❤️

As someone who’s dog died this year at only the age of 3 I have to say how grateful I am that Mabel survived that horrible experience. God bless ❤

I'm so glad Mabel is okay. My dog was hit by a car once, too. He was very protective of my family when cars would drive by. After the wreck he was unable to use one of his front paws, but he lived a long life afterwards. Unfortunately, he was hit again, and he broke his hip. We had to put him down. Rest in peace Howard, and God bless that Mabel lived. I hope she continues to live a wonderful life ❤

Im an Animal Care Assistant at my local vets. Vets are amazing people, from watching over them and seeing them working as a team it's incredible what they can do. Amazing that's Mabel's doing so well at this point! Keep recovering Mabel, but also you Dawko. <3

And Dawko, as someone who has lost a pet to an illness beyond my control, I know it's so easy to want to blame yourself, but this was not your fault. Accidents happen, and you did the right thing getting her help as soon as possible. You and Mabel are troopers and I'm so glad to see you two reunited again.
