In Season 6 of Shameless the Gallaghers (William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Kenney, Ethan Cutkosky) are finally getting their acts together and striking out on their own, but growing up could also mean growing apart. One thing's certain: nothing ever comes easy when your last name is Gallagher -- except trouble.

I don't quite understand why everyone is so hopeless about Ian and Mickey, and Season 6 in general. As heart breaking as it was, I liked the fact that they broke-up because it contributes to their relationship in the long run. I think the writers are brilliant (Both Seasons 4 and 5 were beautiful, though not as comedic as the others) and I truly believe they have something epic in store for Gallavich.

I never lowered my expectations for this show before and I'm not going to start now.
