Why do Xiaomi make awesome phones but always miss simple key features, like why wouldn't this have a sd card slot when the max storage is 128gb? Smallish battery when their other phones have 4000+mah

For those that think better processor and smaller battery is ok - let me give you a real example of the silly logic.

When we automate companies, I thought oh that means we need less staff to get the job done. So more efficiency (855 processor) means less staff (battery). No, my boss said. It means we can do MORE with less. ie Thanks to the automation (855 CPU) we can keep the staff (4000mah) and do even more work. This is how phones should be made. Using the first approach of laying off workers (ie 4000mah -> 3300 mah) you are limiting your potential. A good phone shouldn't need people to defend it's shortcomings. Using the 1st approach you don't grow you merely stay the same. Using approach #2 the company grows. In this case the phone becomes truly better. People on planes, travel, work etc. Don't need a charger at home and work etc...more productivity. Same for the silly 3.5mm but thats another discussion.

As long as people say new processor uses less power so a smaller battery is ok - we all lose out. You guys forget that batteries deteriorate, heck I have had a couple Xiaomi laptops and after a year good luck. This phone needs 3 things. 3.5mm jack and atleast a 3700 - 4000 battery and a finger print sensor..on the back. The screen ones are annoying. What a pity. I am for new tech if it makes life easier not just so that we can go ooh and ahh and then go backwards.
