Coming from another training system, Fascat's 18 weeks of sweet spot plan is pretty nice; the "permission" to ride long and hard on the weekend is huge.

Great vid & great plans! This is my first structured training plan, currently doing 18 weeks of SS Intermediate & coming to the end of the first regeneration week. Did my Saturday TSS "Group Ride" yesterday outside and felt REAL strong & fresh, I really enjoy the weekend rides as like he says it's provides freedom & flexibility. Even though the nice weather is here in Toronto I will more than likely continue my workouts/intervals inside for greater integrity, I find it easier to control power & do my weekend rides outdoors. Really enjoying the structure of the plan, best bang for the buck if you want to improve while not wasting time on "junk" miles thinking you're improving. I'd like to add great support on the Fascat Forum. Looking forward to getting back at it and already trying to think of which plan to do next!

Unless the plans just got redesigned, some weeks have 4 days of SS (Week 5).
