DeWalt DCF809 screwdriver
The exterior is severely worn, the LED light is missing, the chuck shakes greatly, and the startup noise is loud.
After disassembling, it was found that the internal dust blocked the heat dissipation holes, affecting the heat dissipation of the stator and causing the stator coil to burn; the internal water intrusion caused the stator to rust severely
The stator silicon steel sheet was sandblasted to remove rust, and 0.5mm copper wire was rewound
The gearbox shell was sandblasted, re-polished and painted, and the severely worn shaft sleeve was replaced
After repair, the function was basically restored, and the power was strong
The noise was slightly loud due to wear.

Nice refurbishing project. Yes, the rubbery parts are always the hardest to repair. I used some liquid tape on my areas. And for the most part you can't tell any of it was damaged. But the fact that it runs and does what it is supposed to do is really all that matters... Thumbs Up!

Great restoration. However, in my opinion you should have replaced the stator as well. Albeit that you did a good job on rewinding the coils, it's really hard to do it as precisely as the factory does. The bushing for the bit holder's axle should also have been replaced. The wobble after the restoration is still notable.

Hello sir.please help! how many turns are on a pole? and how do the turns connect to the 3 connectors?I know that there are 2 poles inserted in the front but I don't know how the 6 poles are connected to the 3 connector's.😢
