How to plug in your FatMax.......

I have seen many people talking about how it takes a special cord to charge the FatMax. A normal three prong extension cord will fit perfectly. I also looked into a replacement battery for the FatMax. They run about $46. on eBay.

Thank you so much for showing how to charge. Bought last year and used it a few times without needing to charge (until now). Had a full charge when I bought it at Sam's. I have plenty of extension cords, so I raced to get one from the clpsett when I saw this video. I love this Stanley product. Recommend for everyone. Comes in handy 1000%%%%

I purchase same brand 15 years ago at Sam Club. Only used it a few times over the years. Today my battery was dead so wipe the dust of my FatMax and plugged it in for 10 minutes. To my surprise the unit fully charged and start my car. Paid $39 for the unit 15 years ago so it is a great brand. I had not used it for over 5 years before today and it has been sitting inside a FL garage at 85 degree for the past 15 years.

Thank you! I had a feeling it was something like this. Funny enough (since this is the first time I’m charging it) I thought the air pump hose was the cord to plug in and charge until I pulled it out and realized it wasn’t. I was always like “I wonder where the hose for the pump is” and thought maybe this one didn’t have one 🤦🏽‍♂️ very useful to have in a car at all times. My neighbor needed to jump his battery and came out with jumpers until I told him let’s try this one and it worked flawlessly.

I seen others found out the battery connectors were loose inside. Take back cover off and check for tightness. Easy to do. You may want to add some lock nut fluid or use a actual lock nut type as it prevents nuts from getting loose . They get loose over time as it bounces around in the trunk. Good luck !

Air compressor is good to top off tires. But don't fill a tire up completely or add 20 lbs to it and start another tire the compressor will go out. Over heats and quits.

Had one for ten years used it lightly battery went bad ...29 dollars at Amazon and 11 screws later and over night charge works like new..these things are well built

FYI=The two black plastic things on top can be pushed back for small storage. We put the ball inflation needle in there.

I purchased my 1st one in 2017. The battery went bad so I took it back to Sam's Club with the receipt. The manager came over and looked at the unit with the dead battery and gave me a gift card to cover a new unit.
I would like to find a place to get a new battery and a video on how to install it.

For me it does or charge u know why I got the same extension and plus it in but it does not increase like it remain 12.1 bad 2 status batter does not go up

I have a bat jump box and my battery charger on it is showing 12.9 how long do I let it charge up for and it’s got bars running on the side of it

Mine doesn't charge at all. It had two bars when I turned it on so I figured it was enough to air up the tires for the riding mower, it stopped on the third tire and went blank. I've had it on the plugged to charge with a cord that looks just like yours. Five hours later the screen is still blank, no lights or buttons work. Any suggestions?
