It might also be Exostosis, which is a bony growth in the ear mostly seen in cold-water swimmers.
I learned recently I have one in my left ear and it looks like a little pearl. They can get big enough that they block the canal though.
They also can trap water and debris behind it, leading to infection.

I do not cold-water swim, but I did work outside for many years in very cold weather/wind. So, I assume that's how I got mine.
Yey for the weird sh!t our bodies do.

One of my cousins has a teratoma in her nose - and yes it's been a tooth. It's been removed very very quickly, cos it's been... problematic to breath when you had a tooth in your nose...

But it's not the only teratoma she's having, she's curently collected five... just fucked up genetic... but never in ear, but who knew the future.
