Why You Should Consider a Piper Comanche

If you want to know what it is like to fly a piper Comanche 250, you have come to the wrong place. I bought one but I haven't figured out how to work it yet. I did decide that I should make a video about the plane with some marginally truthful information about the plane and the rest is made up nonsense.

Truthfully if you are looking to buy a fast single engine aircraft. I strongly suggest you consider a piper Comanche. The Comanche 250 is a beast and you can get one far cheaper than the other planes in its class.

The number one way you can help my channel is to share videos you like on your social media streams.

It's amazing that in 1961 Piper had the vision to bump up to 7.5G spars to avoid the 5G interference issue in 2022. Cessna 150 wing spars are made from the boxes those 182 wing spars are shipped in.

I owned a 1958 Comanche 250 serial #213 for 10 years and clocked more than 1000 hours on it.
I am now 81 years old and stopped flying in 2010. Best plane I ever owned.

"I decided aviation was becoming just a little bit too affordable...." Fortunately, that is a problem that is very easy to solve.

OMG! Another super funny one. Hit it out of the park. Too many funny lines to list! I thought for sure that a "no need for foggles" or "Built in foggles" joke was comin' any minute.

That was great 🤣. I always liked the way the Comanche's look from the outside, they still look like a modern design!

Hey! I've got a 1960 Comanche 250 and it's got a heater and a defroster! A 65% cruise setting is easier on the engine and wallet with a burn of 12.5gph. You'll still get a true of 147 knots or about 171 mph. At $8.00+ per gallon at the pumps that fine by me.

The cowboys reference made me smile, then cry.
I'll be in my baggage compartment next Sunday as well. 😢

I'm really glad to see you loving the PA-24, it was a pleasure finding it for you! As satirical as this video is. You already seem to have made her shine. I have a Comanche 180 and 250 in stock right now!

Just bought myself a 1959 Comanche 180 with 780 hours total time and 78 hours on a factory rebuilt engine. Picked it up two weeks ago. I love it!!

Just the intro is so funny. “I liked to be challenged both physically and financially “. So awesome

Loved the video! I was actually based at NW Regional in those outdoor T Hangers when I bought my Comanche, I previously owned a Cherokee N5701F which I believe is still parked there. I ultimately decided that since this was probably my forever plane, and the financial investment that I had and was going to make in it, that I needed to have it in a covered hanger, so I moved to Hicks. I remember how much dirt and moisture I would get in those outdoor T's. To me it's worth the investment - something to consider

Despite your best efforts I continually learn real and useful information from your videos. I thought it was a joke that adding tip tanks would increase load but it turns out it really does due to the change in distribution of the weight.

I just stumbled on your video. Man am I glad I did. You’re hilarious. I’m a 62 yr old guy who has always dreamed of doing this consistently and getting my pilot’s certificate. I’ve flown all kinds of planes but never enough to earn what I want. Thank you for this video and sharing your enthusiasm with us all. I’m grateful. I will be staying in contact with you. I’m looking forward to all your videos.
