- larger build plate
- rotating multicolor toolhead
- 4th axis
- smoothing ironing tool, with a heated element or with a diode laser
- using internal camera(s) as 3d scanner

Imagine if the new feature had a built-in scanner. You could just place an object in the print space, and it would scan automatically, giving you an editable or printable model right away. That would be pretty awesome.

The only thing I needed to know to decide if I should wait or not was the bed size.

Let's be very honest for a moment... The Tweet ( *_and_* this Video ) essentially told us literally *_NOTHING_* except that _something_ was announced.

I believe by "pushing the boundaries" they mean "waiting to see if they need to make design changes to avoid Stratasys patents". :D

i would like a AMS filament closet with dryer / dehumidification. Imagine being able to stack 30 rolls instead of those walls of open filament on shelves.

So BL is actually researching and perfecting their next machine? This is much better than the race to the bottom of mediocre machines that the 3D printing world has been plagued with!

Maybe it's an automatic 3d printed object -removing system!! That makes a machine fully automatic for bulk manufacturing.

I would guess a multi nozzle size head, would make sense for the speed up the infill and keep fine details

Thanks for the update!

As already been pointed out: you are the only one posting about this.

We are many that are anticipating a larger volume, but… prosumer? And above X1…?
It sounds like the release in 2025 will be costly - whatever features it will have.

As suggested, the delay might be connected to the legal stuff going on or something due to the ”prosumer” features.

- Either way the message is that they won’t release a long awaited larger printer in time for x-mas. I think that was the initial target.

Again, many thanks for keeping us posted on the latest. It is SO appreciated!

Cheers!

what if the new feature is a separate purge block area not on the plate so the entire plate can be used that would be good enough for me

I wonder if they will go with a tool changer with a heated chamber. Technically this would be a new addition to the consumer market.

Probably waiting to see how the patent case goes.

Did somebody say “unhinged internet speculation” ?!

Count me in!

I want bigger, 256mm cubed is not quite big enough. Bambu X1E is fast enough and I like the filament dryer feature and heated cabinet. The AMS could be a bit bigger as a lot of other brands of filament don't quite fit. Multiple print heads sound good.

I’ve been holding out and now that I know Q1 2025. Makes it easier to wait and save some more. I’m curious what was previously not done with home 3D printers that can be now. Like we have changing heads, hot swap nozzles. Curious if it’s machine usability or something that can be done with a 3D print. Maybe like non-planer printing? Or multi access printing?

I believe they will focus on a truly multi-material printer and super polymers.
I would love idex Bambu Lab.

The pre-mixed true color printing file settings, slicing, and hardware control are, of course, based on the premise of waste reduction.
