My 14YO son went to a 3D Printing camp at a local college this past summer. We were stocked he got to keep the printer after the camp (Ender V3 KE). He got so into it he's now created his own little business from it. Actually monitoring his prints for a holiday market this weekend.
As a long time tech nerd and IT professional, was into it briefly over 10 years ago, but was unimpressed with the consumer options at the time. I'm shocked with how much change has come in just the past couple years.
Looking to get him a P1S with AMS as his 2nd printer for Christmas, but looking forward to the next gen coming in 2025.

If it was not for BambuLab I may not yet have gotten into 3D printing. I bought my X1C in August 2023, and knew absolutely nothing about 3D printers, slicers or 3D printing design. Now 1+ year later, closing in on 1.100 printing hours, and a few relatively easy designs (and hundreds of hours 3D printing and 3D design YouTube video watching), I am so happy I took the jump. I do not mind learning new stuff, but I do technology with the end user / user experience in mind!

Great interview Joel. You asked all the questions I wanted. I even appreciated your honesty about the original email. I got one too and thought the same thing. I turned down his offer and said after successful Kickstarter we can talk. But by then he was shipping a million printers. My mistake. Turbo was very honest and it was a great interview. Looking forward to that next machine.
