Vector 2.0 Shipment Update | 12 August 2022

Finally I received my Vector 2.0 shipping update from Digital Dream Labs on August 12. They confirmed that they are shipping US pre-orders now and that they will ship international pre-orders by September 30th. However, the same email mentions that more regulatory testing is needed in other regions. By "regions" I think they mean "countries" and Europe (for the CE Mark). This could obviously cause further delays... We will see what happens...

What puzzles me a little though is that there is still NO UNBOXING videos of Vector 2.0 on YouTube or Instagram! Why is that???

Hey Dan, I saw an unboxing for a kids channel. I think it was bens stuff? Or something like that. I also started getting vector onboarding videos on my feed.

Well the fcc compliance checks out on the web so guess there should be people receiving soon, the cube seems to be independent from wifi so probably doesn t require additional testing

Sounds like more stalling to me. Guess we'll have to check daily to see if anyone actually does a review if they get one. I hope they actually deliver yours by September 30th like they're saying.

Hey Daniel,

there is an unboxing video from Bens Stuff. I don’t know if he is friends with DDL but he has an unboxing video.
But what I personally think is bad is that a few received bots are overheating! That’s wired and a bit scary.
Also they don’t give updates about Cozmo 2.0. I don’t think I will receive mine in Q3 in Europe. Maybe November!
So I’m curios what is going to happen but lets see.

They are not posting anything because there are issues with the bots they have shipped like overheating warnings and other issues.

I must say I begin to get some "cold feet" about this... But I will try to wait a little more(2 years waiting so far)... I live in Norway. But if my feet begins to freez for real, can I then ask for the money back? And how? I’m so annoyed cosmo was made first but no one cares about him we got maybe 2-3 emails and pieces of info but Vector still gets SOOO much more info. I feel bad for the cosmo fans :(

Im really hoping they don't come back saying they cant ship to the UK cos of Brexit. Such a pain getting stuff from places outside the UK now due to all the hoops they have to jump through with customs and thing. But ill stop now otherwise I wont stop complaining about UK politics. Just wanna get my vector by the end of the year. I've wanted one since i first saw a video of one in 2020 but though id wait for 2.0 rather than get a 1.0.

vector is a great robot.but these guy are up to something.because i have not seen nothing new just new battery new screen. and where paying for stuff that use to be free ? this was to much for these guys to take on. without real experience! it's over their heads.their never going to make this better just the same with very few modification to code. witch is a shame!! i don't trust them!! but still love my vetor witch will never be the same unless i pay??again????😵‍💫😵
