This video shows 4 different examples of how to:

1) Identify the conversion that you need. What is the question asking?

2) Identify the given (starting) unit.

3) Identify conversion factors (equivalences)

4) Write conversion factors as fractions so you can cancel common units to arrive at the unit you need to convert to.

5) Multiply straight across the numerator and denominator.

6) Divide the numerator by the denominator or simplify the fraction.
