I'm a 5th generation Californian leaving behind my family's 40 acre ranch and many other family properties and many family members.
When I get to my new state I plan on getting involved in politics to help warn the locals of what happened to CA and how it happened.
We must stop the spread of modern "liberalism" it sounds nice, warm and fuzzy, but it's a poison that burns your state from the inside.

I'm originally from Texas, lived a few other places in childhood, but was in Austin from 1999-2001 and 2003 until 2020. My wife grew up in Austin. Californians, Hollywood actors, Rogan and more have absolutely devastated Austin and are ruining Texas overall. We finally left because Austin is nothing like it once was. People I would meet who relocated from California and other places are still holding tight to their allegiances to liberalism, their friends and more and it just baffles me. I have no doubts that these people, coupled with illegal immigration and the push from the crooked politicians will eventually ruin Texas.

As a Texan, my fear is all these city people coming across Texas and thinking "Wow, look at all this land with NOBODY and nothing on it! What an opportunity, these people have no idea what they could do with this!" Actually we do know and we are doing it. Think of Texas as a natural wilderness area, you want to leave everything just like you found it.

We left NY after 43 years in November. I just closed on my brand new house in North Carolina latest week and we are already up 45 thousand in equity. Love it here so far, getting my ccw and will be voting red.

I just accepted a job offer in Houston. I was born and raised in Northern California. The politics of my area are, and have always been more conservative. It's a big state with wide swathes of land that house conservatives. Texas has nothing to worry about with me.

Im stuck in CA, would love to move out. Got cancer 5 years ago, which drained my savings. So expensive here, meager income goes to basics it's impossible to save for a move. Good new though, I did make it through the cancer. But now I stress over our gov. insane policies, and the luny leftists I run into everywhere.
I believe many MANY conservatives out here are in the same boat, and would move if they could.

Californian going to Texas within the next 1.5 years. I am a Constitution loving, gun owning, conservative. We are political refugees who recognize that CA is a lost cause due to voter fraud and idiots. Texas fits out family values the best.

Unfortunately that’s exactly what will happen. I lived in Bend Oregon in the 90s with another mass exodus from California. Central Oregon went down hill after that.
