American folk rock band founded in 1966 in Los Angeles and formally disbanded in 1968 after releasing three studio albums. Prominent members included Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 (Performer).

The album consists of songs that each member worked on independently, most notably Neil Young's “Expecting to Fly”, which was recorded with session musicians with arrangements by Jack Nitzsche. Also, “Rock & Roll Woman” is credited as a collaboration between Stephen Stills and David Crosby.

“Buffalo Springfield Again” peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. It was also included in Robert Dimery's ‘1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die’.
