Bruce's speech was epic for a guy who never said much. I got a kick out of that! RIP Dewey and Bruce

Amazing how you can hear Steve’s fabulous vocal voice even in his speaking voice.

I drove down to Kansas City with some friends in '70(ish) to see Poco. Outstanding concert and Richie Furay was a huge part of that. Fast forward to 2014 in Northglenn, CO, (near Denver) and a struggling marriage was more than I could deal with. Did a search for a Christian counselor and I find Calvary Chapel Pastor Richie Furay. Pastor Richie helped me thru one of the most difficult times of my life. God bless you brother.

In 1987 in Monterey California I was in a band and we were the opening act for Buffalo Springfield Revisited. The only original member that night was Bruce Palmer, I got to talk to him for about a half hour before they went on and he told me the whole story about him and Neil coming from Canada and playing with Rick James and later meeting Stephen and Ritchie. He was very easy going, he still has his chops too.

If you’re wondering what Stephen means when he says Neil quit again: Neil left the band in the middle of a tour because he didn’t want to do the Monterey pop festival, then he left in the middle of a Stills-Young Band tour, and then he didn’t show up for the rock and roll hall of fame

Nicely done, boys. The music of Buffalo Springfield still holds up strongly, the debut disc is a classic.

Loved listening to all of this. Especially appreciated Bruce Palmer's speech 💬. He was always my favorite member of Buffalo 🐃 Springfield. Rest in peace ✌ my precious Bruce Palmer.

These guys definitely deserve it. I am glad they received it in ‘97 and are not still waiting for it.

Not many people, alive at least, even realize that the Springfield's biggest hit, "For What It's Worth, " was NOT written about the Vietnam War, but actually about a peaceful demonstration in front of tiny little nightclub for teens called, "Pandora's Box, " which was later torn down. I was sixteen then, and was arrested three blocks from the scene on the way back to my 1953 Chevy when a sheriff in riot gear arrested me for being out after curfew (only 10PM in those days), summarily throwing me in jail. The reason for our demonstration was to protest police brutality, and I witnessed a lot of it that night, a pretty horrific experience for someone on their very first acid trip. Many decades later, I actually met and became friends with Dewey Martin their drummer, who had happily beat alcohol addiction with the help of AA, leaving this life clean and sober. He was a good man.

Furay seems like the real deal. Nice that he can hold his views and Stills can hold his and that they can still relate and play together is what unity truly is. Be nice to get back to being able to love and respect one another and not have to be clones of each other to do it.

Bruce is one of my heroes & was an incredible phenomenon on bass. Sure wish I'd seen him play.

Think if the bands that evolved from Buffalo Springfield.
Crosby, Stills and Nash, Crosby Stills Nash and Young.
Poco, The Souther Hillman and Furay band.

Neil young has given us much good music, and crushed the groove of his band mates again and again. He thinks it's ok because it's always "about the music." Nothing personal. I'll bet his mates felt it personally.

Neil has let a lot of people down over the years. Many times he would split right before a huge gig.

Neil didn’t show up because it wasn’t about him and him only. He wasn’t “feeling” it, I’m sure. Heaven forbid the day comes when the people he bails on, bail on him. Life can be funky.
