Jeffrey Mishlove shares memories, and photographs, from his wedding on August 27, 1978, with Janelle Barlow. Several of the guests have been interviewed on either Thinking Allowed or New Thinking Allowed. Others there, while less well known, were instrumental figures in Jeffrey's life. He concludes by acknowledging Janelle's indispensable role in his work – especially New Thinking Allowed.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980).

Beautiful!!!! I'm so glad I watched this video; what a fantastic journey for all these people. You are so blessed! To answer your question and contribute to the comment section, my happiest moment was the birth of my son. I've waited for him to come to Earth for a period of six years. I will never forget taking him from the nurse's hands right after he was born. I kissed his forehead and held him close to my chest for as long as I could. Many lives together and hopefully many lives more.

I have never wondered what the happiest day of my life was....until you asked. Many peak experiences come to mind but one whole happiest day....I do not have a standout one like you do. I realize I’ve had many many many happy days in my 66 years.

You're a lucky man to have found your lifelong partner and successful career path, Jeffrey. The happiest days of my life were in childhood when everything was young, fresh, innocent, sounded great, etc., unburdened by the troubles of adult life and the world. Even those memories don't burn bright anymore after these decades, seems another lifetime ago. Retaining happy moments in my memory is like capturing lightning in a bottle. I had some in adulthood, but difficult to recall fully the experience.

First off, congratulations on 42 years! Always nice seeing beautiful people thrive together.

The happiest day of my life was a surprise for me. I had moved out of an apartment in NYC, where I was living with my girlfriend. I moved out because I had got my ex-girlfriend pregnant during a break in the relationship with my current girlfriend. I was open and honest with my girlfriend about the situation and moved out a few months later, during the last trimester of my ex girlfriends pregnancy. I moved in with the ex to care for her during these last critical months of pregnancy.

Short story - 3 weeks layer my girlfriend, who I had just left, tells me she is pregnant too. I go to see her in NYC immediately. She says she is 6 months pregnant. She didn't look it. I figured she was lying and wasn't pregnant and returned to my pregnant ex's apartment.

The next day the girlfriend who I had just seen and determined was not pregnant called me. She was at Downtown Hospital in NYC and had just given birth to a baby girl.

My head was spinning. I went to the hospital and there was my first born baby girl. Girlfriend wasn't 6 months pregnant as she told me - she had been 9 months pregnant and the baby was born full term. You should see the big smile on my face in the photos from the hospital.

Happiest day of my life.

And I had to return to my pregnant ex's and tell her my girlfriend had just given birth.

Oof. I did and she took it well...and gave birth about 5 weeks layer to a baby boy.

I went 40 years of my life with getting zero women pregnant and in 5 weeks I had 2 kids. It was mind blowing.

I wrote a book about it and more...a memoir called "Mommy Issues"...
