My chemistry teacher put a tiny piece into water in a bucket under the hood system to show what it did. It made a small pop and was pretty loud. Some kid in the class askedif he could do it again. So he did, but the piece of potassium was bigger.it blew up pretty violently and cracked the glass hood door in our chemistry class. It was awesome
