How do I adjust an image to specific pixel size? I need an image to have an exact height and width, but when I type in the value for the height it only gives me an automatic input for the width, and vice versa, so it's never correct.

I'm working on a platform that uses these very specific pixel sizes (1110 by 555) and everyone else seems to have found out how to do it. How is this possible?

I was using shift+s and the cubic section didn’t show. Thanks for showing that I need to use scale image from the image tab!

Wow. I came here looking for information about gimp, and left with a migraine from flashing lights and discordant noises in the intro. Way to ruin a day

I’m looking for a designer who can show me a quick and efficient method for automatically centering and resizing product images within a canvas. The process should involve the following steps:

1. Upload an image onto the canvas.
2. Automatically recognize the object in the image and resize it so that it maintains a fixed distance (e.g., 25px) from both the top and bottom edges of the canvas.
3. Center the image horizontally on the canvas.
4. Save the resized and centered image.
5. Ideally, this process should be applicable to a batch of images (e.g., 500 images) to streamline workflow.
