I came here to find an alternative to Artic Fox after reading about the owner and how nasty she is to other people online and about some sketchy stuff she has said recently so thank you for this honest review - off to try a few alternatives ;)

I've had a good experience with Arctic Fox hair dye, I've only used purple rain and violet dream, I didn't like violet dream(it wasn't really the color that was shown) but I love purple rain, and I loved how it faded back to normal instead of some yucky green. I don't mind the price, because some of the profit for each bottle purchased, is donated to help save animals, which I respect, but i can see why you didn't like it

Something I've found with manic panic: the longer you leave it on the longer it lasts. Coat your hair with it, cover it in a shower cap and sleep in it and the color will last a surprisingly long time. I've had manic panic last months by doing this.
However, disclaimer: my hair is dyed permenate with L'oreal Hi Color and 40 lift developer. I only use manic panic for between dye touch ups.

Heya! I've done this video 2 years ago and I wanted to clarify that even tho I had a discount code for Lunar Tides, I was not getting anything from it, the dyes were sent to me so I could try them out, no strings attached, no videos or shout outs requested. Other brands have sent me dyes for free and that didn't sway my opinion cause some are at the bottom of the list 😅. I loved the brand and still do, that's why I added them at n1 and I still stand by it 😁

Artic fox is so very hit or miss it broke my heart! The red I used was beautiful and stayed vibrant for so long. Then the orange literally barely showed up on super bleached blonde hair and faded out completely in one wash.

I tried two colours of Arctic fox, worked quite well, even though i have dark brown, unbleached and healthy hair the blue and the purple were quite visible for almost a month, so i think it was the colour you tried..

I always find it very interesting to see different people's opinions on hair dye :) I personally love arctic fox, so far I have tried Aquamarine, Poison and Poseidon and they all turned out very close to the shade on the bottle- my hair isn't at the right lighting level for those colours so the fact it isn't a perfect match is my own fault- but I still thought they were great. Maybe it's also in part to do with our own hair how dye takes, rather than it just being the dyes fault (otherwise it wouldn't be such a raved brand) I loved your review though as I'm keen to try other dyes (arctic fox is breaking my bank, that's my one downside for it) and found a lot I didn't know about through you :D awesome <3

I agree about Arctic fox. The silver was the worst silver I have ever tried... Went ugly green. I was using ion colour brilliance from Sally's and went back to it for a steel silver instead. Since then I have my hair a large break and then went pastel pink. I use overtone at the moment and have loved it. Moving on to try lunar tides next for pastel pink and purples! Happy to find your review to solidify my next adventure. Still would champion overtone, the cost is a bit much for maintaining long hair though.

I’ve used arctic fox and must say I’m pleased. I put virgin pink diluted with conditioner to make a pastel pink in my hair 1 month ago and it’s still a beautiful pastel pink after a handful of washes. Your video title should include that this is your opinion based on ‘permanent’ color. Most people who go different colors want a semi because they want it to wash out so they could try different colors. However arctic fox is lasting me a good while and I haven’t even used half the bottle because of my conditioner I use for diluter.

So far I have tried 4 dyes from Artic Fox. Wrath, Purple Rain, and now I currently have half Electric Paradise and Periwinkle. A problem I have noticed for me is blues do NOT stick. I have naturally blonde hair and first time I dyed it blue it was with Manic Panics Rockabilly Blue so I thought was just a problem with the brand but now the Periwinkle will not stay. I have redyed it 2 days in a row to make sure I was getting full coverage and it just does not work.

I just tried Arctic Fox and why i stumbled on video. Used in daughters virgin hair. The green you had. Did not stick at all except where i touched scalp... never again, should have been 10

Punky Colors is one of my favorite dyes. Their purple color shampoo is amazinggg (and the shampoos smell like bubblegum)

I have used Artic Fox pinks and reds and they’re amazing. They also last for quite a long time. I even like to put some into my conditioner. And I do not have to touch up my red or pink depending on what color I’m going with for about four months
