BEST & WORST Black Hair Dyes | Overtone, Arctic Fox, Garnier...

\Hey everyone, excited to bring another beauty-related video to my channel. For the long-term color that I'm looking for, I've found that the permanent dyes work better than semi-permanent ones for obvious reasons. Again, this is just my personal preference as I want my hair color to be as deep as possible for as long as possible! Transylvania was SO green for me. After it faded my hair was permanently dark-green. I dyed it over with purple rain and it fixed it thank God

I'm so glad I came across this video! I've been thinking about dying my hair black again and was worried about the blue undertones a lot of my go-to hair dye brands have in their black colours. Like you, I want that neutral pure black and I felt like everything I came across was blue-black.

A tip for anyone who wants to use the Arctic fox Transylvania black but also doesn’t like the blue undertone: mix in their sunset orange shade and it neutralizes the color. I’ve been doing this and it makes such a difference

I hate that garnier isn't cruelty free because the 1n1 is my favorite aaargh. Why can't we just use pedophiles, rapists, and serial killers for testing instead of innocent animals? I could get behind that..

Olia black 1.0 is my absolute favoriteee I love that the undertones are blue instead of red and I think it's crazy that you didn't like the conditioner because I loved it, I have curly hair though so maybe that makes a difference

Loreal soft black has reddish undertones when the sun hits it. Looks super natural and I loved it. I had black hair for years. However the have a shade that is called true black and it had awful blue undertones and looked like a wig. Definitely soft black for loreal was great.

Watching this video after I used Transylvania.. I wish I would’ve watched more vids! My go-to is Arctic fox but definitely not for black. I like blue black a lot but not when the blue gets EVERYWHERE. Stained my bathtub, my skin, when I shower it’s pure blue running out. It’s just a hassle for me and I’m so ready to dye over it with something else😭

Hi, thanks for your opinion. My hair is dark brown and i used dark brown hair dyes and it lightens so fast in my opinion. I will try black and see how it goes with my dark brown.

the ion naturals natural black is a great neutral black but it’s so hard to find in stock at sally’s, the regular version of ion in jet black has been my go-to for the past year. it has the slightest blue tint when you first wash it out but by the second wash the blue goes away and you’re just left with pure black (it also lasts longer than the natural black). you do have to buy the developer separately but the 32 oz bottle of the sally’s store brand is like $10 and they get me through multiple rounds of dye <3

I used arctic fox Transylvania the first time I ever dyed my hair black and it was horrible. It's marketed as having blue undertones but it left me with streaks of purple and green after it washed out and it looked so bad and crusty. I have naturally dark brown hair and I thought it would just richen the color but it was horrible.

I tried Good Dye Young’s black dye and it was just like the Arctic fox one! All the light spots on my hair turned out blue

None More Black by Good Dye Young is the most pigmented black I've ever used. I mix it with iroiro deep blue for my blue black.
