I tried lactic acid for acne and it didn't work at all. If you have textured skin/closed comedones use “Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting - 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant”
I tried it, used it 3 times a week as a toner and properly moisturized. I saw results in two weeks and my skin has improved 😌
