I mean heavy things need a lot of hp, cruise ships have 30, 000 - 50, 000hp

Putting carbon on a 2.5 T car is like putting lipstick on a pig.

So the M5 is no longer a sports car that capable of challenging the 911 but is now a muscle car that will struggle against the Charger. Nice work, BMW. Nice work.

would much rather have the last generation m5 competition.

The rear looks legitimately like a Toyota Camry.

Some enthusiasts called it "fat" & honestly i almost agree with them.

In that colour, it looks like a New York taxi.

I just can't get over the FWD proportions of the new 5 series. The bonnet and fenders are way too high for a car of it's type.

3:40 your logic makes no sense. You know what made the g80 m3 and m2 still worth it and likable. it was actually faster compared to predecessor unlike the G90, if the g80 came out and it was slower than the f80 everyone would still hate it

This car fully loaded up with vacation luggage and fat people in estate form will require truck license because of the weight 3.5T

This looks more like a 7 series and has the weight of one too. Should have been the M7

It’s midnight in Paris, Rory. We go to work early in the morning and you post this video that in the night. C’mon.

G90 is unbelievably massive downgrade in comparison to F90 and as a reviewer you’re are trying too smooth it’s edges, nothing special. When you’re saying it’s having 100hp more than RS6, it doesn’t make any sense at all, because Audi is much lighter and faster and it will just destroy an M5 any day. It also doesn’t matter that it’s the most powerful M5 yet, if it weighs nearly as an X7. And what’s the purpose of these 727hp if you can use it ONLY in short periods of time? Any other time it’s not as “dynamic” unless you don’t press a bloody button. This car is horrendous in every aspect, and when you told us about an M3 being ugly and how everyone hated it, you forgot to admit, that G80 is dramatically better in terms of speed, handling, tuning potential, emotions etc. than F80. That’s why people are buying sports cars, isn’t it?

I really wish BMW did with this M5 what they're about to do with the next M3 - offer two powertrain options. One is the traditional ICE model with a mild-hybrid to satisfy the petrolheads, and a fully electric model that can reduce BMW's CO2 credits (thus allowing the ICE model to exist) and actually take the fight to rival EVs like the Model S Plaid. Ford uses a similar strategy with the Mustang GT and Mach E, as the electric SUV sales help to reduce Ford's overall fleet emissions, thus allowing the Coyote V8 to continue production.
