Floor has stepped up through the years as the undisputed front lady of Nightwish. She is so powerful, awesome and incredible, when she is leading the crowd - and no other singer in the world can match her - especially after she also do most of Marko's parts of the songs. And this version of Planet Hell - - - you felt it like never before! I was standing in the first third of the crowd - I tell you Floor is pure power.
And Jukka the new bassist is a phenomenal basplayer, adding some new vibes, very fitting 👍💪

The new bass player is Jukka Koskinen, from Wintersun. Sami was the original bass player before Marko.

Weird to listen to that one without Marko, but Floor does an outstanding job on her own.

Jukka is the new bassist, he and drummer Kai was both from Wintersun. Very rarely you see Tuomas hitting the keyboard is amazing, he hasn't done many solos to himself. Nightwish today is just one of the best they've been, their concert's was out of this world.
The future world will be better, we truly live what seems biblical times, but after that comes better times.

NW and Floor are just phantastic, even without Marco, but we appreciate that Floor and Troy gave her best - which was awesome. floor got better the last years IMO.

I miss Marco too, but more Floor can never be wrong. Jukka Koskinen is the new bass player from Wintersun, he rocks hard. I love all sides of Floor, when she sings Marco's old parts with that grit in her voice, just love it. You guys should check out this concert, you will get to see more of the new Jukka, and he loves to headbang with Floor and Tuomas.

Thanks a lot! I'm happy you chose this one without Marko. Although we all miss him, we're gonna have to get used to the fact he's not in the band anymore. All the gigs from last summer are just great. Personally I like the one from Hellfest (France) best, because the filming by the ARTE channel is one of the best I've ever seen in any concert.

Happy Birthday Tomakazi, and congrats on 6K.
This version is great and Floor kills it, as usual. But she is singing it solo, the song had always been a duet, and Marko heavy.
Sami Vanska was the 1st bassist before Marko. This is Jukka Koskinen, he is the one that came from Wintersun.

Yes, this is a Tarja era song, from the 5th album, Once, in 2004. I recommend, at some point, coming back to this song with the End of an Era version, Tarja and Marko vocals. Floor did sing it with Marko, but the best video with that is a compilation video, with an audio track laid over it.

Big Congratulations on 6K subs! All of you people who watch and have not subscribed need to get off the schneid and hit the button! And Congratulations on your pending nuptials! One of my favorite NW songs, I must admit I vastly prefer the versions with Marko. For me, Floor and Troy cannot replace what is missing with his vocals. I love the driving drums at the start of the song, and it is nice to hear that Jukka has the same wicked bass line Marko had. This was the second NW song Floor performed when she debuted in Seattle in 2012 (Dark Chest of Wonders was the first). I actually prefer Tarja's vocals on this song, but Floor does an excellent job as well. Anette just did not have the pipes to do this song justice. Politics: I think you are right more than wrong, and I worry about the future of the country. I see too many young people willing to turn to socialism/communism, and I know that will be a disaster. My wife grew up in the Soviet Union, and I wish she was still here to tell you exactly what living there was really like. Great reaction, stay safe, God Bless, and keep rocking.
