My Whitestone City

My white stone city lost in groves and flowers,
And soaked in dazzling sunlight day by day,
You are turning young despite of passing hours,
My love, my inspiration and my pray.

My lovely city wrapped in leafy clothing,
Your stirring ways are beaming in twilight,
I like the peaceful rays you bring at dawning,
You play the major chord for all my life.

I like to take a stroll through placid districts,
Where roses and chestnuts protect the street,
To meet my friends and any other peoples,
A joy, a bliss and spring beneath my feet.

My limestone city epic and eternal,
An old, a new, a small and great in one,
Your breathe is calm, and tender and maternal,
For me, for her, for him, for everyone.
