Safe These situations are brought on because some riders are intimidated by faster more experienced riders. The rider flipping off max is probably at his peak. He’s as good as he’ll ever be and for that reason..he’s pissed

He was to Bad to be passed....on his café junker....he got that fright when another bike comes up on you and you haven't noticed it....get it myself...😂😂😂😂...but i normally go after them...and have some people need to lighten up ❤

Imo passing on the center line is never a safe pass. It can be slippery and you're too close to the other rider. That person may not be aware of your presence (especially since this idiot has no mirrors) and passing that close could spook him.

On top of that, it seems like he was about to swerve to the left exactly as you are next to him... There's a corner coming to the right and he probably wanted to take that from the outside to the inside as you should, but then there you are riding in his "ideal line"...

He's a hot head for flipping the finger and he should invest in mirrors, but I do agree this was unsafe.

In regards to double yellows, bikers know the risks and know the stats, other bikers know the deal, watch your mirrors and let’s others past.
It’s not the fact the other biker came past, the problem was he got startled because he had NO mirrors to see him coming forcing the other rider to cross this double yellows.
No mirrors is an accident he won’t see coming
