I like this one in particular because it feels fitting to Nurgle. Its very upbeat and jovial, while maintaining its sinister tone

This music fits the 40k vibe so fucking well, maybe only surpassed on the vibe check front by Mechanicus.

Creepy strings, self-serious but also disturbing religious vocals, coupled with an obviously retro science fiction vibe from the electronic element.

The song *sounds like* how 40k *felt* to me as an 8 year old kid reading through faded warhammer codexes from the early 90's, looking at the pictures while sat in the dark, thinking they were awesome and scary in equal measure.

"Woah cool cyborg dude!!!!- wait is that a cherub with a skull for a face fighting a flying skull with bat wings in the background? what the fuck?"

One of my biggest pet peeves with games nowadays is when soundtracks this good have their volume turned way down when actually in game. (Looking at you, GTA V) If I can’t crank shit this good at max volume while gunning down heretics then it’ll be an absolute crying shame.

Music is an extremely important and often over-looked element of player immersion and story telling. It gives the world life beyond what is simply being played by the player. This Composer knows that, and clearly knows the 40k world in a way that allows them to visualize what that feeling should sound like. Every element of this music is masterful at capturing the sensation 40k ellicits from people.

You can tell it is inspired by Vermintide, the string instrument really giving that "ratty" feel, but on the same time it is its own score.
