Actually it was later proven she was not 22 at that time. It was also proven she was severely abused and neglected by this family. Thank God in the end Natalia got a family that had very similar physical issues and loved her very much. My heart breaks that this poor girl had to endure at least 2 POS families that used her and harmed her before she finally found the living family she deserved.

As a former "stupid person" who first saw this clip, thought "oh yeah the chick who lied like the dude in The Imposter", i did some searching and she was in fact a child, the former parents even got court charges that were dropped. I stayed unaware cause there was a ton of media covering stating she was a liar, but im a little disappointed it was a damn YouTube Shorts clip when i realized that wasn't the case. So to help ease people off each other's throats, the lack of attention this case got when she finally got justice probably plays a big part in the lack of awareness. I never did a deep dive on this case before, again learned everything passively, but will be digging now cause this is wild.

This first half of the show is a disgrace to the real child victim... Not even close to the real story. (I know they wanted to show the foster parents' "supposed" perspective), but Natalie didn't consent to that, and it is excusing the actions of the foster parents. They hardly faced repercussions for the neglect. That poor girl was abused by her family, but in the first half of the show, her foster mom and dad are made to be the good guys. Repulsive. It just bothers me that even now, directors insist on placing in the narrative that was disproved already! Why not start the show with what really happened to Natalie?? SPOILER!!! IT'S BECAUSE OF MONEY!! (And possibly to explain the fosters perspective first, because that was the FIRST story the investigators were given by the foster parents. Natalie later had to disprove those claims and set the story straight, after the accusations started to ruin her image. Which is why the second half of the show would be where the real story began).

If you don’t know the show, it’s called Good American Family on Hulu, and I wanted to tell you more about it because I know when I watch these little shows, I want to know the show the platform is on and more about it. So, basically, this girl Natalia. If you know about the Natalia Grace story, then you know she got adopted by these two couples and has siblings. She has temper tantrums. She yells and hits her parents. She is using this walker. In the beginning of the first episode, she ran away without her walker with like a weird limp, of course. And the parents got suspicious of that and were looking. And she, the mom, the lady she found, like socks covered in blood in one of her sons Jake, out of the three sons, has autism. She found a bloody tampon in the middle of the interview, and she doesn’t use tampons basically. And so she got mad at Natalia Grace. But the dad believes that she’s seven years old, but the mom doesn’t think so. And they take her to this apartment because they find out she could be 22. So we take her. And then the dad comes into the apartment like a month later because she got kicked out because she took a little boy like all around town because she tried to go back to her parents. And then she, obviously, got in trouble because like she took a minor because people thought she was an adult. And her apartment was messy. So then the next day, that dad like came and picked her up and moved her apartment to a different apartment. And episodes come out every Tuesday. I know irl she was an actual kid and left abandoned, but even in this movie, as a disabled 22 year old, it feels extremely wrong to just leave them in a house alone by themselves. Clearly they knew nothing about fending for themselves so throwing them into an empty house just feels like a perfect recipee for disaster

A lot of you are thinking its about the girl from the movie Orhan. Where the girl is a woman and she kills her family. Then tries to kill hwr adoptive family and sleep with the adopted father.

But this is a tv show about a whole different person than the movie orphan is based on..
