The dark haired guy in the interview speaks so much better than the other guy. The other guy seemed to just talk in circles.

I could watch that guy talk about the mech engineering for hours. That was fascinating!

First ride and we’re all in. SRAM have made a big move for the #1 spot.

@ 12:01 SRAM engineer was like “cool story product manager, which chapter are u gonna shut da F up.” @19:54 the engineer was like STFU already!! That’s it I’m taking over.” 😂

Great insights from this video, looks like riding is going to get a lot smoother for those that can afford this premium system. For those of us who swap out chainrings and cassettes for different ride situations, how flexible is this new system, is the power meter so tied into the chainrings? Do we end up with 3 power meters if we took the three different chainring options if we want the flexibility?

The paint jobs on this frames seem really nice.

That gravel crank is fugly! Apart from the levers the entire groupset has been hit with the ugly stick. Can't compete with the flowing lines of Shimano.

Seems wrong: X-Range 46/33+10-33 = 50/34+11-32. Would not that be 46/33+10-33 = 50/34+11-34?

It sounds and looks great. But I heard it is $7, 000AUD. That's insanely expensive. It is a real shame that they have priced this group set out of the reach of most cyclist. I considering upgrading my group set to electronic. But at that price it will never happen.
I hope that Etap (Gen 1) stays available, if there is only Etap AXS, then unless they do something about pricing, it will not matter how good it is they will not sell many. And is that not the point, make it better and sell lots of them.

If they are wanting to take it Shimano they have to make it affordable. Good vid. Great to hear from the developers

Are the new rotors available for both centerlock and six bolt?

That 16 tooth jump may be a 'catastrophic' event if you are using a SRAM front mech, My shimano derailleurs have been doing it without a problem for years. Inventing a problem that does not exist? looks like an impressive group set though.

Did someone hand around the Koolaid? Just joking, I do think there is some good tech here, but there is some questionable claims. The real thing is, is it value for money? What you need to ask, is it four to five times better than ultegra R8000 mechanical?

You guys cut off the hat guy just as he was explaining something I hadn’t heard in any of the other interviews! Why you don’t need a cage lock with the new hydraulic “clutch”. Why would you just cut him off mid sentence?! Bizarre.

Does it self adjust if you change the wheel say from 28 cog to a cassette with 33

The SRAM engineers were looking very nervous making their statements about chain and cog wear on their ultra narrow chains and ultra compact cassette and front chain wheel cogs.

, power meter on the chainring, rock any one. I have certainly bashed a chainring and damaged the chainring. Obviously more of an issue with MB or CX than road. That said how much for a replacement 'do I need to be sitting down'

Man that rear derailleur cage on the gravel bike is waaaay too stretched 😮

Yet I am still using friction shifts, so simple and effective for third world touring.
