I'm darn near in tears because sfter listening to Myron, I need to sell my truck. I can't afford to pay cash for it and I need to focus. Both my wife and oldest child are sick with autoimmune issues and I know to tighten down. I make hundreds of thousands but still don't have cash to buy the truck I'm driving. Jeesh!

Focus: Focusing on lack more than abundance--neither is present in the absence of the other. Both always exist.
Focusing on limitation more than ability.
Financial: Trading time for Money
Trading money for bills (exclusively) the primary purpose of money is turning it into more money.
Trading your future for the present: this is indulgence. Much regret comes from an instant gratification due to years of paying for it.
Fantasy: Dream House- not until you can pay cash for it. Until then, have a house that is sufficient.
Dream Car - again, not until you can pay cash, but he recommends even then to use that money for seed to make yourself some more money.
Dream Career - all work has work in it. Focus instead on your current job and what it costs you in time/energy/mental drain, etc...vs. what it pays you.

Your job gives you two things: occupation and money. You can lack or have money but you have to be occupied. The easiest way to change your money problem is to change your occupation problem. In absence of money, the way the rich occupy their time is way different from the way the poor occupy their time. To those employed, how you spend your day off tells a lot about your habits. Does the way you use your time portrays your habits as those of a rich person or you just like sleeping like the poor. (Proverbs 6:10-11) Rethink how you occupy your time and a lot will change in your life.
