Ladies if you have large pores and oily skin, try putting on a putty primer with a clean/product free, dense foundation brush .... take your time, use circular motions and buff the primer into your skin ( Using a dense brush prevents oil, lotion, etc from your fingers altering the primers formula) then wait a full 5 mins for the primer to settle into your pores. ...Next take a small amount of primer and a super clean finger to pat primer into areas that need extra love and attention. Then wait another 6-8 mins. Don't skip the wait time! Otherwise you'll just be dragging the primer over your skin when you apply your foundation, you need to give primer time to settle if you have large pores.

I PROMISE you will notice a huge difference using this method IF you have done the correct skin prep beforehand of course.... such as cleansing, exfoliating, using a clay mask to extract dirt/oil/trapped sebum from your pores, applied a toner and moisturized . Trust me, Ive tested so many primers, foundations and skin care products and I can say prepping skin before applying make up is super important. Applying the products correctly and using products that work well together is also key to flawless make-up. Using this method I'm able to get flawless skin with products that I thought were trash when I was applying them with my fingers and not correctly prepping my

BTW my fav primer is Tarte Timeless primer and fav foundation is Ester Lauder double wear but lately Ive been loving Nars Soft Matte foundation... I hope my lil tips help someone :)

Wow game changer! Use a pore filler first, then a smoothing primer on top!? I never thought of doing that, but it obviously makes a lot of sense. Will try it tomorrow, thanks for the tip!

This is the first video I find that actually makes sense when it comes to covering large pores, cause every video looks like it’s gonna help and then it doesn’t. Also, I get small moldes on my neck and I bought this tool that you can use to burn them off at home, so if you want too I know that some people don’t mind them, I didn’t at first but once I started getting more I did it and it works great! It shrinks it, and then it falls off. Just FYI, great video 👍🏽

Hi Tonja, I loved this video. I have been watching so many makeup review videos and really could not relate to the twenty year olds at all. You finally popped up in my search for large pores. Thank God, because those other videos were not for me. Lol I love your personality and the time you take to talk about what you have paired them with. I have large pores and I am in my 50s. No one told me that they got larger when you get older. I’m telling my younger friends because it takes you off guard and your old makeup doesn’t work anymore. Thank you. This is very helpful. Love this. You can get those “moles” zapped right off. They are common in darker skin. It has a name of what it is. They can easily be removed. You are gorgeous and love your spirit.

Great video for we ladies with enlarged pores. I have them on my nose mostly and some on my cheeks from years of acne as a teenager. Now my skin is normal to very dry in winter. I did use a dermatologist as a teen. Even they can't prevent enlarging pores and the scaring from cystic acne completely. So pore fillers and bluring primers are a God send!

You're so relatable and your honest opinion helps so much in choosing the right products ❤ I'm a MUA student, and looking for silicone-based primers that go really well with textured skin, fine lines and large pores. Would you recommend using another soothing primer on top of the Pore fessional for this type of skin? Or would only this primer do?
