i brought 3 cross bows and about 450 arrows, bunch of drinks . some how i ended up killing the storm king my first try.

Pro tip for people whose world did not spawn the storm area:

The storm island will be on the outside of your main island, similar to the lost isle and starwars islands. Just make something that flies and scout the edge of your main island and it should be there. Like if this helps!

On PS4 this is nearly impossible for me. I get so much lag, I keep getting rubberbanded back and hit by 3 or four enemies. I have a 500mg connection, so this is obviously a game bug issue. Not sure why they didn't make Storm King in a separate instance to stop lag.

I just fought the storm king for the first time alone on expert difficulty and managed to defeat him. Thanks for the tips it helps a lot

I had to do this in Sandbox first to see what was what. I defeated him and didn't get credit for it through the village but did at the end of the fight. But I used the bowcaster and the Star Wars bombs/detonators. I flew above his head and just unloaded on the minions and when the weakest points appeared. Took me forever it

I REPEAT. DO NOT FLY OR DRIVE VEHICLES IN THE STORM. If you get possessed while in one. Your vehicle will deform and will cause it to not fly/drive properly anymore. Happened to me today as my air vehicle became elongated with pieces sticking out not even touching eachother.

Small tip: I don’t know if people talk about it much but Totem of the Immortal will keep you in the fight if you are killed. It will not use up your Totem of return. This helped me beat SK on expert. And stink jars doing damage while I run around trying not to die.

In some quests that make you go and find or make a resource if you have it already you can throw it and pick it up again and it will count so if you have a storm fruit and you need 4 more throw it down and pick it up again 4 times

Something I’ve just noticed when I went into a dungeon was that if you swing your sword at the base of the spawner, it for some reason does a crazy multiplier on the damage. Idk if it was patched yet tho.
