This was the song that convinced me it was time to do actual work on myself. “Count me out” and “Father Time”. Classic album.

The singer is Anneston Pisayavong, for anybody wondering!

The only guy that can give us masterpieces and take some time off to focus on family and then casually come back to bury people on tracks.

Definitely not my favorite Kendrick album. But it’s crazy to me how “count me out” and “crown” are the only songs ever to make me shed tears. The greatest he is. Let’s appreciate him while he’s here. King Kendrick.

This gotta be one of the prettiest samples ive ever found in hip hop and i go rooting around the internet for every one i hear that i like. It can be such a powerful genre when the bluster and swagger get put aside for a minute.

I think this was an actual song in itself and Kendrick took it and turned it into count me out

Every time those drums fade out I get that "trying not to cry" feeling, I've been tripping and falling for a long time and it's like this cut version validates and heals all the nasty feelings I've dealt with in my painful journey through life

He made music that electrified me....
Not music that pacified me.... 🙏

„Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers“ was the album, that made me want to change myself and my life. I bought Eckhart Tolles Book „Now“ and read it, started to meditate, learnt to forgive and to live peacefully.

Thank you, Kendrick…

I swear, Mr. Morale is a criminally underrated album. The samples on that album are crazy good.

Initially, i was one of those idiots that didn't like this album, but every time i listen to it, i resonate with so many of these tracks.

Untitled in Gried, Father Time, N95, Saviour, Count Me Out, and Mirror being my favourites and go tos.

Favorite song off the album. Favorite album of his. In the top 10 albums in Hip-Hop for me. Has to be. It stands for something so much bigger than just rap.

This shoulda been an interlude or something on the album. This demo is a force all by itself

This song is one of his best pieces of art ever, the entire morale album is. Wish people couldve seen that when it dropped but im happy that everybody sees it now. Its so hard saying which one is his best but this might be my favourite dot album🙏🏻
